Representative Martin will discuss his work in the NC General Assembly and his experience as the recipient of the prestigious Aspen Institute-Rodel Fellowship. Topics will range from Sir Walter Raleigh to Redistricting, Machiavelli to Midterm Elections, Democracy to Demagoguery, Plato to Politics in the Postmodern World.
